Yggdrasil Gaming Expands Senior Management Team

Yggdrasil Gaming has created two new positions to expanded its senior management team. The appointment of Andrew Pegler as chief commercial officer and the promotion of Krzysztof Opalka to chief product officer show that Yggdrasil is committed to maintaining growth. The ongoing recruitment drive has seen the firm double in size over the past year. The company has already expanded its Malta and Poland offices and the developed a new commercial operation in Gibraltar.

Former Scientific Games director of account management Andrew Pegler will be stationed in Gibraltar. His main task being to grow the supplier’s presence in the region. Meanwhile, Krzysztof Opałka has been Yggdrasil’s head of front end development and operations since April 2016. He will now lead as chief product officer based in the development office in Krakow, Poland.

Both were congratulated on their appointments by company CEO Fredrik Elmqvist who said “As we continue to grow the business it is vital that we have the brightest minds and experienced hands on board, and Andrew and Krzysztof certainly meet those requirements. They will both play a key role in the future direction of the business.”
